A Mexican self-taught artist. Lives & works in San Diego California. Katya Saab’s art symbolize an abstract representation of the impassioned existence. Through her abstract expressionism style, Katya aims to pay homage to our natural world and its constant changes with studies of emotions implying in her paintings. Her work involves layered, utilizing imperfect lines and shapes reflecting emotions & perceptions from life.
“The absence of tangibility; the alchemy to grow through every moment that passes; the colors of the nature; the power of the family and love; incites me to being spontaneous and true to my intuition to socialize my work with my perspective, a happy chaos is the unconscious translation of my work into reflections. My intention is to increase the harmony between art and social welfare based on sustainability development and always in need to speak out on behalf of vulnerable children.
