INNER DIALOGUES
For years, I dreamed of publishing a book. I believed I had important things to say that the world needed to hear. But as I look back on what it really takes to do it, I realize how different the process was from my expectations.
To begin with, you don’t just sit down to write a book. That's not how writing works. I had thousands of key words and short sentences, then I wrote paragraphs, and whithin the months those became entire dialogues. Writing happens in fits and starts, in bits and pieces. It’s a process.
Each dialogue is connected with my work and “Nature” and the result was 550 pages of pure love. One step at a time, then another and another … As I look back on the process, I never expected to be 4 years long the wait but was totally worth it. The most difficult part has been to say: “it’s done”.
